The Tigers ground out a 9.12 (66) to 1.4 (10) win at Nathalia Recreation Reserve, with overhead — and under-foot — conditions much more suitable for ducks than disposal efficiency.
Flynn Penberthy, Jackson Trengove, Sam Beasley, Brayden Burgess, Luca Allen and Thomas McShane starred for the visitors — with Trengove’s five goals telling in the clash.
Cobram flew out of the blocks to lead 5.5 (35) to two behinds at the first break, and the Purples never recovered.
Henry Congues stood tall for Nathalia across the contest, with Bailey Bell slotting his side’s only goal on the day.
Cobram will rest up across the league-wide bye weekend before another tantalising battle awaits — against ladder-leader Congupna.

Rams triumph in wet clash
The Deniliquin Rams senior team clinched its second consecutive win, defeating Barooga by six goals on its home turf, as the league gears up for the bye.
Despite the persistent drizzle, the Rams' midfield shone, particularly in the final quarter, netting three goals from seven scoring shots. The opening quarter was a close battle, with Jake Hobbs and Sam Lloyd giving the Rams an early edge, only for Barooga’s Lachlan Sykes to hit back with a goal.
The Rams were ahead by seven points at the first break, but it was the second quarter that sealed their win. Hamish Shepheard reigned supreme in the ruck, giving Lloyd, Charlie Hillier, Ricky Gittens and Hobbs the first crack at the ball. The Rams added three goals in the quarter, while Brayden Hall, Ryan and Lachie MacDonald, and Cable Fitzpatrick restricted the Hawks to a single goal in the first half.
Barooga rallied in the third quarter. Lachlan Harris, Angus Cameron and Kris Bextream put in solid performances, helping the Hawks add two goals. However, a timely goal from Hobbs kept the Rams 20 points ahead at the final break.
The Rams finished strong, scoring another three goals in the last quarter.
