Although the Roar went down 2-0 in Albury, there was a lot of confidence coming out of that game for Cobram heading into the finals.
It was a fast-paced game, with Spurs having the majority of the possession at times. Despite this, the Roar held their own extremely well.
Ella Janssens, in particular, kept Spurs quiet for most of the game on the left side of the ground.
Spurs showed a lot of class, but the Roar created a few opportunities of their own, with Alyssa Iannucci narrowly missing a couple of opportunities and Alexis Iddles and Hayley Burn also going close.
The loss moved Cobram back to fourth but with two games left in the regular season the Roar can still move up to third and increase their chances of playing play a home semi-final should they progress that far.
