The division one Roarettes took on Albury United on Sunday, June 30 and it was a 13-goal bonanza.
With young gun Casey Chandler scoring four goals, including her first career hat-trick, she was a handful for United’s defence.
Jess Gannaway scored two of her own, while Captain Alyssa Iannucci got on the score-sheet, as did Hayley Burn and Meg Poole.
Poole’s strike was her first goal in women's football in her first season since transitioning from netball.
The Roar ladies were dominant in their performance, and proved far too strong for United.
However, despite that domination, it was evident the ladies still showed some lapses in concentration throughout the game, conceding four goals for the first time this season.
The ladies are looking toward a strong second half of the season with two big games coming up.
With games against Wodonga Diamonds and Melrose FC on the way, the ladies are definitely ready for the challenges ahead.
