Despite playing only six Talent League games for the Bendigo Pioneers, Tongala product Reid made the most of them to earn a spot in the league’s Team of the Year side, named in the midfield.
Reid booted 12 goals and was consistently among the best players as eyes now turn to the AFL National Draft in November.
At the JJ Liston Trophy night and after initially earning selection earlier this month, Leitchville-Gunbower product Hore capped off a strong season with Williamstown by being named in the back pocket of the VFL’s Team of the Year.
On top of that, the 27-year-old was also named third in the coaches MVP category, a timely reminder of his value to any potential AFL suitors.
