The Deniliquin Rams senior football group are building a strong list of returning players for their 2025 season.
As reported last week, John Anstee will take on the role of assistant coach, while premiership winning coach, Gary Parsons, returns as head coach.
Building on what was a strong season in a highly competitive senior competition in 2024, the Rams will also welcome Todd Gallagher to the playing group.
The wealth of football expertise brought by Parsons, Anstee and Gallagher will be crucial for the team's success in the upcoming season.
Gallagher is a key player for the Rams, being part of their leadership group and winning the senior best in finals award an indication of his importance to the team.
His experience will also buoy the group.
He is one of four players from the 2011 premiership triumph that played with Deni this year.
The club has further fortified its roster by securing the return of key players Angus Durnan, Mick Barnett, Jake Cavallaro, Lachie Osborne, Jake Herberte and Tom McCallum.
Earlier this month, Will Henderson, Cable Fitzpatrick, Harry Hillier, Luke Todd, Jack Hay, Zac Free, Marcus Moorse, Miller Fitzpatrick and Darcy McManus were confirmed to have committed to the Rams in 2025.
The Rams clinched an impressive fourth place this season, triumphing in their first final before narrowly losing to Moama by two goals in the second week, bringing their campaign to a close.
Plenty of positives were clear to see from the Rams senior side this year.
Having a number of young players regularly named in the side and winning a final against last year's premiers will have instilled a confidence in the group they can build on for next season.
