The much-anticipated campaign is scheduled to kick off on April 1 with a blockbuster opening round of contests.
Senior football reigning premier Waaia will begin its premiership defence with a home contest against Deniliquin Rovers where the Bombers will unfurl their 2022 flag.
Tungamah’s premiership winning A-grade outfit will face a clash at home against rivals Katandra.
The grand final has been pencilled in for the second weekend of spring and will be held at Strathmerton on September 9.
Other notable round one fixtures include Katamatite’s trip to Mathoura, while Tocumwal will welcome Picola United and Strathmerton will play host to Jerilderie respectively.
Yarroweyah’s season will kick off on Good Friday away to Tocumwal.
Each of the 15 clubs will face the bye twice throughout the 18 rounds, while there is a league-wide general bye scheduled for July 1.
Last week’s fixture reveal now means all four senior football and netball leagues in the Goulburn and Murray regions have locked in their fixtures ahead of the looming 2023 season.
League operations manager Shane Railton said it was full steam ahead now for the Picola District League with less than nine weeks before round one.
“Yeah it is, we’ve had a few other things pop up that have taken some time but it’s nice to now get the fixture out there,” he said.
“Our greatest priority is to ensure clubs who play each other twice the previous season only play each other once. It’s always hard to get these things (fixtures) right, but we try to be as fair as we can to each club.
“We have a few clubs toying with the idea of some twilight matches and we’re hoping to have them locked in soon.”
