The Strathmerton team started slow in the first quarter, however as the game progressed so did its cohesion and defensive efforts, while up forward the goalers’ hard work started paying off.
Katandra flexed its muscles with a commanding 77-37 victory over Blighty at home.
Deniliquin Rovers proved their premiership credentials with a mammoth victory over Yarroweyah, 9-87.
Katamatite backed up its footballing success with an 11-goal victory over Waaia (44-33).
