Bombers president John Guinan said at the weekend it was only a matter of the club’s committee officially ratifying the reappointments of the coaches, which is likely to happen at its next meeting next week.
“Corey (Carver) and Kaine (Herbert) have both indicated they have wanted to go on in their roles as joint senior coaches,” Guinan said.
‘‘Scott (Hearn) has put his hand up to do the reserves again and Peter Ryan and Mark Patten are keen to continue as joint coaches of the thirds.
‘‘The committee is very happy with all its coaches and their commitment to go on to further stabilise our club.
‘‘All our coaches have done a great job in sometimes testing and challenging times this season and their reappointments are very welcome and will be popular.“
Meanwhile, Kyabram senior caption Zac Norris is expected to know this week whether he could make an eleventh hour return to the Bombers’ line-up with the GVL finals series only two games away.
Norris has not been able to play this season after suffering a shoulder injury late last year that required surgery.
Kyabram co-coach Corey Carver said Norris had an appointment with a specialist this week that would determine whether he could play again this season.
