The event, which ran from January 18 to 21, saw competitors from across Australia and around the world converge on Barooga to compete for a prize purse of $250,000.
However, there can be only one winner, and with the final score of 263, Kobari won the tournament with a two-stroke victory.
Kobori’s win at Barooga is his second on the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia. He won the 2019 New Zealand PGA Championship as a 17-year-old amateur.
He used his experience to win the 2024 tournament.
“It does feel like a lifetime ago because a lot has changed since then but it’s something that I still draw confidence from too,” Kobori said.
“I’ve done it once; why can’t I do it again.”
Second place was also taken by an overseas player, Singapore’s Shannon Tan.
In the Webex All Abilities Players Series, Wayne Perske shot rounds of 80-71 to win the Murray River leg by seven shots.

Barooga Sporties chief executive officer Bobby Brooks awarded her a brand new car for her feat.
The event was supported by 113 volunteers who filled 333 shifts and Mr Brooks was ecstatic about how the tournament unfolded.
