The Hoppers came from behind at three-quarter time to defeat the Demons 49-44 in their A-grade clash, the side’s second win of the season.
Yarroweyah had a dominant 65-24 victory in B-grade, while its C-graders prevailed 56-27.
Hoppers A-grade coach Bek Jones said the club was up and about on Saturday night following the trio of victories.
“It was so exciting. Everyone stayed at the club and celebrated well into the night,” Jones said.
‘“Every senior netball team came away with a win. It has been a very, very long time since that has happened. Vibes were really high and everyone was really excited.”
At the start of the season Yarroweyah had not won a match in A-grade in more than 1400 days. Now, the Hoppers are celebrating their second victory in three games after rising above the Demons.
“It was a really tough game, it was another goal-for-goal game,” Jones said.
“Going into the last quarter we were two goals down, and then we had a quick four goals in a row to go up by two. We kept the momentum going from there and won by five in the end.
“We played a really, really strong game and came through with the win.
“The one game that we lost, we were three A-graders down. We had two B-graders filling in for us that week, so it was good to have our team back last week and reinforce what we can do when we have our whole team there.”
Elsewhere, Katamatite couldn’t pick up its first win of the season after falling to Berrigan 31-23.
The Tigers are 0-3 so far this season, but will have another shot at victory when they face off against Yarroweyah in round five on Saturday, April 29.
Around the courts, Deni Rovers were big winners against Blighty 54-7, Tungamah was victorious over Mathoura 33-23, Waaia was too good for Picola United 53-37 and Katandra edged past Katunga 36-32.
Strathmerton had the bye in round four, but will return to the court this weekend to face Tungamah.
