Sunshine filled the sky above the Goulburn Valley on Saturday afternoon, but Shepparton Park and Dookie’s eager bowlers were well protected under the roof at Shepparton Park Bowls Club.

With no sun glinting in their eyes or crisping their skin, Shepparton Park and Dookie's players were able to fight it out in a high-class Goulburn Valley Playing Area division six duel.
The match started in tight fashion with Shepparton Park claiming the first rink 24-17.
Shepparton Park’s Raymond Hindmarsh then led the onslaught in the second rink, with Park claiming a convincing victory, 24-9.
Dookie fought back hard during the third rink, but Park’s William Brown got his side home to claim a 27-25 victory.
Park won the match 16-73 to 0-51.
In other division six results, Euroa defeated Violet Town 14-79 to 2-39 and Nagambie defeated Alexandra 14-56 to 2-32.
