The league announced its fixture for the first week of the post-season on Monday morning following the completion of the home-and-away rounds at the weekend.
Seymour, Echuca and Tatura will host matches this weekend, with finals to be played at Kings Park and Tatura Park on Saturday, September 3.
Echuca’s Victoria Park will host finals matches on Sunday, September 4.
In the senior football fixture, Echuca and Mansfield will square off at Kings Park on Saturday in the qualifying final.
The second elimination final between Euroa and Kyabram will be played at Tatura Park.
Fresh off an incredible round 18 win, Mooroopna will take on Rochester in the first elimination final at Echuca.
Over in the A-grade netball, Seymour and Mooroopna will clash heads at Victoria Park on Sunday in the qualifying final.
Shepparton United takes on arch-rival Shepparton at Tatura, while Echuca and Euroa will do battle at Kings Park.
The 2022 finals campaign will also see the league adopt a new fixture initiative.
To help minimise the movement of clubs across multiple venues, each venue will host a mix of qualifying and elimination finals.
“We are super excited to finally be playing finals again around the Goulburn Valley League,” acting GVL board chair Jacqui Hudgson said.
“With ladders again changing over the weekend in our last round, we are ensured of some exciting and thrilling contests in both the football and netball during both days of competition.”
Week two of the finals series will see Kyabram and Mansfield take up hosting duties.
The preliminary and grand finals will take place at Deakin Reserve, Shepparton.
