Cobram’s senior women’s side is still searching for its first top-flight win after falling to Albury United at the weekend.
The Roar were in the contest after a tough first half, down just 2-0 at the break. But United kicked things up a gear in the second half, adding four more goals to run out 6-0 victors.
Division 2 men: Cobram Roar 1 lt Albury United 3
Jake Kalz netted his second goal of the season for Cobram but it wasn’t enough as his side fell to Albury United 3-1.
Division 3 men: Cobram Roar 0 lt Albury United 2
Cobram’s division three men tasted defeat for the first time this season, falling to Albury United 2-0.
Over-35s: Cobram Roar 2 lt Albury United 4
James McMaster continued his rich form in front of goals, netting his fifth and sixth goals in three games for the Roar.
But it wasn’t enough to earn victory, with Cobram falling to Albury United 4-2.
Under-16 boys: Cobram Roar 15 d Albury United 0
Cobram was excellent as it earned an incredible 15-0 win over Albury United.
Samuel Hurlston and Baden Riedell scored four goals each, while George Wiles also netted a hat-trick.
Ted Thomas scored two goals while Reuben Haley and Bella Pardy also scored.
Under-14 boys: Cobram Roar 3 d Albury United 0
Under-14s collected their first win, 3-0, under the captaincy of Dante Zito. Roar totally dominated the midfield with strikers having many attempts. The solid defence conceded zero goals against them with an award-winning effort from William Young.

Under-14 girls: Cobram Roar 3 d Diamonds 2
Diamonds led the first half 2-0. Roar however was determined and evened up the scoreline to 2-2. Roar’s forward line found its rhythm with numerous attempts at goal and was rewarded with a third goal to win a hard-fought game.

Under-13 boys: Cobram Roar 10 d Albury United 1
Logan Morley (3), Alex Hawke (2), Tyler Stone (2), Charlie Keath (2) and Cameron Trantham-Webb were the goal scorers in Cobram’s 10-1 win.
Under-12: Cobram 2 drew with Hotspurs Yellow 2
Cobram took the lead early with a quick goal to Flynn Rourke off the back of some excellent team play. Pippa Thomas, Harvey Boake and Henry Watmore worked extremely hard in the middle to create lots of forward opportunities, which ultimately resulted in a goal to Mario Mete and some exciting play up top from youngster Banjo Boake.
Lachlan Pardy was also solid in defence, in what was an evenly contested and hard-fought match. Cobram will no doubt take the experience and confidence gained from this match into future games.
