The tournament begins this week, good luck and good golf Steffi.
Singles knockout final: Last Monday the final was played between Cathy McGrath and Jennie Gould. A very exciting day for both golfers as neither had ever played off for this board event, so a great achievement for both ladies.
Congratulations Cathy on winning this year's knockout. Well done and very well played.
Interclub: CBGC ladies continue to support other local clubs this week, travelling to Benalla on Thursday and Mooroopna on Friday for their bowl day.
Congratulations to Yvonne Meehan, winning the individual event in her grade with a score of 38 points, continuing her good form from Wednesday, and Marg Majernik runners-up in Mooroopna. Well done ladies.
Pennant: Division one kept their hot streak going on Monday with another 5/0 win over Rich River. Well done girls on another fabulous win. Unfortunately division two was defeated by Ky Valley View in a close game.
Wednesday: Wednesday was the qualifying round for the Doris Chambers, a Victoria-wide event where the winners from individual clubs play off in a final held at Sanctuary Lakes Golf Course later on in the year.
Congratulations to our winners Yvonne Meehan and Joy Mynard who will represent CBGC.
Thursday: Our course continues to be very busy every day with lots of visitors and members alike enjoying our fabulous facilities.
John Scandrett had the score of the day on Thursday, winning his section with a great score of 37 points.
Top two: Singles knockout winner Cathy McGrath and runner-up Jennie Gould.
