Three tours took place on Tuesday, December 7, to introduce the students to their new school.
Assistant principal Julie Walsh said it was exciting for the students to get one of the first looks through the new school.
"This is kind of the cherry on top of the cake to be able to see this building before everybody else," she said.
Gowrie St Primary School student Shakilah Patching was looking forward to science at the new campus.
Mooroopna North Primary School captain Jesse Wilson was excited for art.
“I think I’m most excited for the art class, and writing,” Jesse said.
The orientation has already fostered a new friendship in Mooroopna North Primary School student Serena Harbrow and Ardmona Primary School student Sommer Owen-Scott.
They were excited about the dance room.
As for Grahamvale Primary School students Brendan Hogg and Bailey Robertson, the theatre and media rooms looked the best.
“(The highlight so far is) probably the green screen,” Brendan said.
Three-hundred and forty students from across the Goulburn Valley are enrolled in Year 7 at GSSC next year.
