The activities will be hosted at the Moulamein Heritage Village, which has a range of displays you can explore between activities.
The event promises a wide array of activities and games for children, alongside popular attractions such as show bags, cakes, treats, snow cones, and the eagerly awaited Yabby Races, ensuring fun for all ages.
Attendees can purchase race tickets, knowing that all proceeds will directly support the Moulamein community.
The famous Yabby Races have been a part of the Moulamein community’s Easter for 40 years or more.
The Moulamein Heritage Village itself is a favourite among history enthusiasts, offering a captivating glimpse into the vibrant town as it stood in 1908 - the year of its establishment.
Moulamein is believed to be the oldest town in the Riverina, which Moulamein Community Development Incorporated secretary/treasurer Deidre Howard said is a source of pride.
She said the Easter fair will be a great day out for the whole family.
“Moulamein Heritage Village is a big area of 2.5 hectares, with plenty of parking and lots of room for yabby races and fun for everyone to participate in.
“Everyone loves a chocolate, so the Easter Egg hunt will be very popular.
“Kids can also do Easter crafts, go on the jumping castle, buy a show bag and enjoy a snow cone.
“There will be a big barbecue selling all your favourites - steaks, sausages, rissoles - and drinks will be available.”
But, it doesn’t just stop there, there will be homemade cakes of all sizes, the Moulamein Car Club will have a magnificent display of vintage cars on site and the village will have its own display of old tractors, trucks, and drays for all to see.
All the fun of the Moulamein Preschool Easter Fair and Yabby Races begins from 9am on Saturday.
