On Sunday, February 11, The Woolshed at Emerald Bank in Kialla, welcomed 183 guests to its loveliest of days.
To celebrate their nearest and dearest, guests enjoyed a two-course luncheon while hearing from guest speakers GV Health Foundation trustee Emma Cannon and Nadine Holgate, who talked about acquired brain injuries.
But the real matter at hand (or matter of the heart) was the cause behind it all.
The Shepparton Soroptimist group aimed to raise money for the GV Health Foundation to provide a scholarship for a nursing student to pursue their post-graduate studies in the area.
The group successfully raised their target of $5000, and the lucky recipient of the scholarship was Katrina Poppa.
The News was sent in photos from the Shepparton Soroptimist’s successful event, which even the most cupid-averse enjoyed.
