Police have identified the man who died in a two-car collision at Undera on Monday, June 3.
He was a 27-year-old man from the Melbourne suburb of Fawkner.
Police said the man’s car was travelling north on Tatura-Undera Rd, when it and another vehicle travelling west on Mooroopna-Lancaster Rd, collided about 10.40am.
The Fawkner man died at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, a man believed to be in his 70s, was taken to Goulburn Valley Health in a stable condition, according to an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson.
The Fawkner man is the 26th person to have died from 18 crashes in the region since New Year’s Eve.
That is an average of almost one person a week to have died in the region.
