Is the hour of 5pm reserved for sitting around the couch and shouting answers at the TV?
If you answered yes to these questions, Lalalty Hall might have the event for you.
The hall’s trivia night will be held on Wednesday, July 24, featuring questions from all corners of knowledge.
Each round will have questions set to a specific theme that you can tackle with your team of up to eight.
The topics remain a mystery, so research far and wide in preparation.
If you don’t have trivia team at the ready, the committee will be happy to find a spot for you with other groups.
Unlike the TV shows, there’s no huge cash pot up for grabs, but tickets are only $10, and all proceeds go toward supporting the upkeep of the hall, which has been a cherished host of the community, tended to lovingly by the volunteer hall committee, for more than 50 years.
Of course, there’s a prize to take home as well.
Multiple, actually, as Marcia Nolan from the hall committee hinted at “lots of random prizes” throughout the night.
The real prize, however, is the wonderful night of community spirit and enjoyment.
(Not to mention the delicious supper that is provided at no additional cost.)
This event is cash only.
