A temporary traffic update to the works at the intersection of Welsford and Fryers streets in Shepparton will see Marungi St open for cars and buses travelling from Mooroopna to Shepparton.
This detour will be in place from 7am on Monday, November 21 and will see the Fryers St extension open for vehicles to turn left into Marungi St.
However, heavy vehicles and trucks will not be able to use Marungi St and will need to continue to use High St.
All traffic heading from Shepparton and Mooroopna will continue to do so from High St only; Marungi St cannot be used to turn on to the Peter Ross-Edwards Causeway.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead, avoid peak hours if possible and expect delays.
The intersection works have been causing traffic delays on the causeway since they began on November 14.
During the week Member for Shepparton District Suzanna Sheed called on Greater Shepparton City Council to defer the works.
