Dutch Thunder Wildlife Shelter wish to remind our community that more wildlife is coming out of the floodwaters and taking refuge on the higher ground beside our roads.
They urge drivers to please take care, slow down and report injured, deceased or flood affected wildlife.
Wildlife volunteers have just been out on the Tocumwal Bends checking on the welfare of kangaroos, wallabies, koala and even an echidna.
The team at Dutch Thunder can be contacted on 0417 560 910. This is a great number to keep handy and use as our local 24-hour emergency animal rescue.
