Co-manager Danielle Gundrill said businesses had stepped up and helped them provide what the community needs.
Brereton’s Bakery in Nathalia is providing the business with it’s bread, sausage rolls and pies daily.
Despite the additional items, Mrs Gundrill said there was no immediate plan to overhaul the existing menu.
“(We’re) Finding out what the customers want in regards to bread, pies and sausage rolls and going on from there,” Mrs Gundrill said.
She said it was part of Strathmerton Post Office and Mail Box Café’s desire to serve the local communities.
“We get a lot of travelling customers, especially with the river and local hotspots, but also the community members who need those essentials in town and who can’t just pop over to Cobram.”
The Strathmerton Post Office and Mailbox Café team also wished to thank the communities for their on going support.
