Morning Melodies will make an exciting return in May, with a familiar special guest.
Last year’s event, held at Kelvingrove Village in Nagambie, saw local entertainer Noel Pearson heighten the energy of the crowd.
This year, Mr Pearson will be back at Kelvingrove Village in celebration of Mother’s Day.
On Friday, May 9, those in Kelvingrove Village are invited to come along to the community hall and offer support from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Ten dollars will be requested on entry, with proceeds to go towards the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal and the Anglican Mother’s Union Solomon Islands Literacy for Women project.
A fundraising raffle will also be held on the day.
Bookings must be made to Di Grant on 5794 1720 by May 6, and attendees are requested to bring along a small plate of morning tea to share if they can.
“Let’s have a good number turn up to show support to our entertainer and worthy causes,” Ms Grant said.
