Shepp Show back with a bang

The long-awaited return of the Shepparton Show was a tale of two very different days.

Friday was a slow and wet affair, which didn’t attract any significant crowd numbers until 5pm.

Saturday was a different beast as animals piled in for judging and families loaded up the pram as the overcast weather cleared into a sunny, mild day and there were plenty of weekend sticky-beakers out to grab some hot chips.

This year kids aged under 14 got in free, thanks to a government COVID-19 recovery grant.

Schools took advantage of this free entry on Friday, running field trips out to the showgrounds.
