It will be the first STAG show catering for this age range since the 2017 production of The Sound Of Music.
Auditions are to be held on Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27 at STAG’s home in The Bakehouse Shed on Wheeler St.
Director Casey Fogarty is excited to bring the well-known story back to Westside this September.
STAG last presented Fiddler on the Roof in 2001, and its focus is on involving performers of all ages and backgrounds.
Tevye, a poor dairyman, tries to hold on to his religion, his Russian-Jewish traditions and his five daughters while a difficult future looms ever nearer.
In the process, he learns that life is “as shaky as a fiddler on the roof”.
Join the STAG team to dream with Matchmaker, Matchmaker, laugh out loud with If I Were a Rich Man, and tear up with Sunrise, Sunset and Anatevka.
This is a theatrical experience that will last for ever in your heart.
