It has been a long time coming, but Cobram will once again be hosting a carnival when the Vic Wide Family Fun Fair rolls into town in early June.
The fair will run between Thursday, June 1 and finish Sunday, June 4.
The fair will be open from 5pm Thursday and Friday and 12pm on Saturday and Sunday and will be located at the Cobram Racecourse.
Entry is only $2 with rides priced individually.
Owner-operator Tony McCulloch said the fair came to Cobram on the request of people in the area.
“People have requested for us to come to Cobram through our Facebook page,” Mr McCulloch said
The fair is suitable for all ages and will include food trucks, side show alley and carnival rides.
Mr McCulloch said he hoped that after a tough few years the fair would lift community spirits.
“We are just trying to bring family together. We know that Cobram hasn’t had the opportunity for a show for the last three years due to floods and COVID and we are looking to come back to Cobram and put a smile on everyone’s faces,” he said.
“It is a great community event and a great chance for the community to get together. Bring your smiles.”
