The section of road is located east of the Byrneside-Gillieston Rd intersection in Merrigum.
Merrigum-Ardmona Rd will be closed to public vehicle traffic in the area, between Byrneside- Gillieston Rd and Mulcahy Rd, and a detour route will be in place.
The signed detour route will be via Byrneside-Gillieston Rd, Midland Hwy and Tatura-Undera Rd.
As part of the council’s major culvert renewal program, works on the culvert road crossing over the waterway will be undertaken to replace the existing structure and install new guard railing.
Access for local residents will be maintained throughout the construction period.
