A man has been flown to Melbourne after he was trapped under a tractor at an orchard in Lemnos on Friday, March 18.
Shepparton Police Sergeant Darren Wagstaff said the 39-year-old Shepparton man was slashing between the fruit trees at the orchard when the tractor became bogged at about 11am.
A second tractor was used to help, and in the process one tractor slipped over, landing on the man.
Shepparton Search and Rescue commander Gary Lovell said the man was pinned under the vehicle by his leg, arm and torso.
Mr Lovell said they worked with Fire Rescue Victoria crews to free the man.
SES crews were also on scene to assist with the rescue.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said a man in his 30s was flown to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne in a stable condition with serious but non-life-threatening upper body injuries.
A WorkSafe spokesperson said the organisation is making inquiries regarding the incident.
