Areas of the club have been closed off since the first week of March, with the courtyard and playground receiving a facelift.
Kyabram Club general manager Greg Ryan said the board decided to renovate the outdoor areas to be functional for patrons in any weather.
“Previously, when the weather was either too cold or too hot, we wouldn’t be able to use that outside area,” he said.
“Both the playground and the courtyard will be enclosed, allowing us to get more use out of them regardless of the season.”
Previously outside, the playground will now be indoors and undercover, allowing playtime during even the rainiest days.
In addition to the outside renovations, the bistro area toilets will also receive a revamp.
Mr Ryan said the business hoped these renovations would “open the doors for more patrons”, allowing for more space to cater to people in the courtyard without the obstacle of weather, and creating a multi-purpose area for functions.
The renovations have not affected the Kyabram restaurant massively, and Mr Ryan said he was “looking forward” to the renovations being finalised.
“We’re trying to do business as usual, even with the construction going on next door,” he said.
Mr Ryan said they expected the renovations to be complete “by mid to late November”.
“The new area will be something really special with modern décor that will give members and visitors a new experience,” he said.
