Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the death of a man, who was found injured on a road in Cobram on Saturday, July 29.
Emergency services were called to Cobram-Koonoomoo Rd just before 9pm after a passer-by located a seriously injured man on the road.
CPR was started, but the man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
A male driver is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
Detectives investigating the man’s death are hoping to speak to anyone who may have seen the man walking between 8pm and 9pm on the Cobram-Koonoomoo Rd. Specifically, anyone driving between 8.50pm and 9pm on the Cobram-Koonoomoo Rd. It’s believed he was walking from Cobram towards Koonoomoo.
