The burglary occurred between 9 am on December 24 and 8.30 am on January 1.
The incident was published on the Victoria Police Eyewatch page. With the assistance of the community members, one of the caravans was found at an address in Numurkah.
A woman, 27, was charged and bailed, while two men, aged in their 30s, were remanded in custody to appear at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court in relation to the alleged thefts.
Police thanked community members for their information and assistance.
● On December 15, a woman, 50, was charged in relation to the alleged possession of a drug of dependence. She was bailed and will appear at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court.
● Registration plates were stolen from a caravan parked on Karook St, Cobram, on December 19.
● Cobram police officers are investigating after windows were damaged at a house in Wadeson St, Cobram, on December 21.
● Between 6 pm on December 21 and 7.30 am on December 22, a Honda generator was stolen from a property in Wadeson St, Cobram.
● CFA responded to a fire on Larissa Rd, Katunga, on December 22 about 7.30 am, which was allegedly lit to burn a pile of garden debris.
The fire was extinguished and a man, in his 50s, was interviewed in relation to the matter.
● Police officers are investigating an assault on Punt Rd, Cobram, on December 28 between 6.30 pm and 7.10 pm.
● A vehicle was stolen from a Burke Crt, Cobram, home between 7 pm on December 28 and 8 am on December 29. Cobram police officers are investigating.
● Between 7 pm on January 1 and 6.40 am on January 2, cash and property was stolen from a vehicle parked in Sturt St, Cobram.
● Between 8 pm on January 1 and 8am on January 2, assorted fishing equipment was stolen from a vehicle and boat parked in Main St, Cobram.
● About 11 pm on January 2, an unknown person allegedly forced open a power box and caused damage to equipment at a business on Cobram-Koonoomoo Rd, Cobram.
● A woman will face court at a later date after allegedly lighting a fire about 11 am on December 19, during the fire danger period.
The fire was lit to burn rubbish at a property on Katamatite-Shepparton Rd, Invergordon. CFA attended to extinguish the fire.
● At 12.55 pm on December 23, a fire was allegedly lit at a property on Lawford St, Barmah, during a fire danger period. A large area of grass was burned. A man was interviewed by police and will attend court at a later date.
● Between 1 pm on December 27 and 3 pm on December 31, two DHZ 125cc motorbikes, tools and an Aldi water pump were stolen from a property on Katamatite-Nathalia Rd, Waaia. Nathalia police officers are investigating.
● About $8000 worth of damage was done after an unknown person allegedly damaged bags of canola seed in a paddock on Wunghnu Rd, Wunghnu.
The incident occurred between 12.30 pm on December 20 and 7.15 am on December 21, causing canola seed to spill on the ground.
● A $1000 water system was stolen from the Wunghnu Recreation Reserve football clubrooms between 2 pm on December 28 and 10.45 am on December 31.
● On December 29, Numurkah police officers and Cobram Criminal Investigation Unit detectives executed a search warrant in Pinnuck St, Numurkah.
Drugs, cash and stolen property was allegedly found seized by police. A man, 34, has been charged and bailed to appear at court at a later date.
● A vehicle was damaged at a property in Conifer Close, Yarrawonga, about 6.30 pm on December 20.
● Yarrawonga police officers are investigating after a white Mitsubishi dual cab utility was allegedly used in a theft of fuel from a business on Telford St, Yarrawonga, about 8.30 am on December 21.
● On December 25, a vehicle was intercepted in Yarrawonga. Police conducted a search of the vehicle and allegedly located cannabis. A man, 21 was arrested and issued a caution in relation to the matter.
