On November 14 or 15, an unknown offender entered the backyard through an unlocked gate.
● Some time between November 12 and 16, an unknown offender caused $2000 damage to a number of beehives along Ulupna Bridge Rd.
● Opportunistic thieves waited until the lights at a Murray Valley Hwy, Yielima, property were turned off before stealing a Honda TRX quad bike on November 16.
● A Pearce St, Nathalia resident was assaulted on November 11 by unknown offenders, who then fled in a red car.
● The front door of a Tocumwal Rd, Numurkah, unit was damaged by unknown offenders about 10.30 am on November 15.
● A $4000 two-seater pedal bike was stolen from a house on Burley Rd, Yarrawonga, by two men on November 15.
● Cobram Highway Patrol is clamping down on hoons who are placing themselves and others at risk by performing burnouts at intersections in the Moira Shire.
The actions of these drivers are also damaging public infrastructure, including road surfaces and road signage.
Cobram Highway Patrol takes this type of offending seriously and is patrolling these intersections, and will use all powers and police assets to stop this offending.
Prosecution of these drivers can result in the vehicles being impounded and the drivers attending court.
