Poker on the Murray - held in Tocumwal on the weekend - was the first of its kind for country Victoria.

The event, co-ordinated through Poker Nation in association with Australian Poker Tour, included seven poker events across three days of competitions.
About 130 people attended the event, competing to win $32,000 in cash and $5000 in prizes.
Poker Nation owner Leigh Nothrope said Tocumwal was a central location to hold the event.
“A lot of people play poker in this area and because it's a farming community, they can't get away to the bigger events we run,” he said.
“We wanted give them the chance to experience a similar type of tournament.
“This is such a beautiful area and we want our players to see it.”
Event administrator Ray Fitzpatrick said it was a great opportunity for local poker players.
“It was a really good atmosphere and a great tournament, it was a very big weekend,” he said.
Two APT owners oversaw the series along with seasoned tournament hosts Phil Jarvis, Graeme Bennett, Todd Rivers, Shaun Assigal and Sun Lui.
The high roller event kicked off the proceeding on April 16, followed by the main event on April 17 and 18 with a prize pool of about $20,000.
Other side events were held to provide players with the variety APT supply at their events on a smaller scale.
A player of the series prize was won by Nick Mullen of Melbourne, which included a package to the Massive Australian Poker Tour Sydney series.
Events were supported by local businesses, including The Big Strawberry, Big Mammas Kitchen, Cobba Paddleboat Cruises, Manto Produce and Charles Sturt Motor Inn.
