The grounds of Mathoura Public School in Frome Street – easy access from the highway – will be filled with garden related trading tables, a cake stall and other items.
A gold coin donation with proceeds going to the school will gain you access to the action.
And there will be a raffle which, like Topsy, has grown beyond expectations and boasts more than $800 in prizes.
Don’t miss out. The gate opens at 9am.

Mathoura Gun Club is once again planning its Pink Shoot which was so successful last year.
The event raises funds for the Mathoura Bra Fence group and its support of locals affected by cancer.
The inaugural event was a huge success but club president, Jack Carrol, believes they can do better.
As an encouragement he has pledged to have his beard shaved off if $5000 is raised.
Now that is a big thing for Jack because he has had that beard for 15 years – his kids probably won’t recognise him without it.
So you know what to do; get behind the effort!!!
The event will be held on October 26.

Sadly the Mathoura branch of the United Hospital Auxiliary has had to cancel its planned Melbourne Cup activity due to lack of numbers.
However, support for the auxiliary’s efforts to assist in retaining the local Community Nurse Service has not been lost!
Mathoura Bowling Club has stepped in to help out.
The club is organizing a raffle to be held on October 31, with all proceeds to be donated to the Mathoura branch of the UHA.
The club encourages everyone to support the raffle, with all proceeds going to an important service which it hopes they won’t have to use.
