It prides itself on being a 100 per cent Australian family owned and operated business, at all its locations.
Owners Imelda and Shawn Padman have been running the business for almost three years after taking over from Shawn’s parents, who started the company some 34 years ago.
Ms Padman said it was lovely to find out the business had won the Best Manufacturing Business award.
“It was really nice to be nominated especially knowing that we were up against so many great local businesses,” she said.
“And it does feel great to get this recognition. We have so many loyal customers who are hugely important to us.
"The business is in a period of growth which has allowed it to hire more local staff.
“So it’s an extremely busy time for us.”
Ms Padman said going through COVID was really tough for lots of businesses, but farmers have weathered the storm and have continued to support them.
“We’re very lucky to be kept busy, and as tricky and trying as it was with managing staff during the COVID period we are really fortunate to keep surging through.
“I guess we have a wonderful team and it’s all due to them making things happen.
“They all work together and that is what makes us successful.”
Ms Padman said it was nice to celebrate at the awards ceremony but they have plans to celebrate with the whole team when they get a chance.
"I’ve brought the trophy and certificate in today, and I am about to go around and show it off to everyone,“ she said.
