With one more candidate than the 2022 vote, the nine candidates will go to the polls on May 3.
In the ballot draw completed last week, Ms Ley has drawn the top spot on the ballot for the Liberal Party.
Labor candidate Glen Hyde from Tocumwal has drawn second, and independent candidate Michelle Milthorpe is in third position.
Both have been actively campaigning in the region for a number of weeks.
Ms Milthorpe is the only independent candidate on the ballot, with the remaining contenders all representing political parties.
In ballot order, they are:
Richard August Hendrie (Greens).
Emma Hicks (Pauline Hanson’s One Nation).
Peter Sinclair (Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party).
David O’Reilly (Gerard Rennick People First Party).
Rebecca Scriven (Family First Party).
Tanya Hargraves (Trumpet of Patriots).
Australian Electoral Commissioner Jeff Pope is calling this “Australia’s largest ever federal election” due to electoral enrolments.
“There are more voters on the electoral roll than ever before, there’ll be more voting venues than ever - both within Australia and overseas, there’ll be greater accessibility options than we’ve ever had, and we again need around 100,000 staff to deliver it,” Mr Pope said.
The AEC said by the end of 2024, there were 710,000 more people on the electoral roll than were registered at the 2022 federal election.
Registrations for this election closed on April 7.
