This is just one of the events being offered as part of a ‘Revisit the Historical Village of Berrigan’ program running over nine days starting this weekend.
Tickets to see Nangunia are $20 for adults, with under 18s free.
Purchase tickets at Humantix, or you can scan the QR code on posters around town or on page three of today’s edition.
You can learn about the history of the Nangunia Homestead and tour the grounds.
All monies raised will be shared equally between Berrigan Public School P&C Committee, Berrigan Children’s Centre and Berrigan War Memorial Pool Committee.
This is an alcohol, smoking and pet free event.

The ‘Revisit the Historical Village of Berrigan’ begins this weekend, which is the long weekend for NSW, and there is plenty happening in our town - nine days of hospitality, activities and history.
This Friday is the opening night of the art exhibition at the CWA Hall, which will run until October 7, and then again from October 12-14.
The exhibition opens at 6.30pm on the Friday night, and 10.30am to 4pm on other days.
There will be a printmaking workshop on Thursday, October 10. Price is $100 per person, and bookings to be made to Janice on 0429 028 562.
From October 9 to 12 you can participate in a heritage walk which will leave the museum at 9.30am.
There will also be a Trove workshop Thursday, October 10 at 9.30am at the Berrigan Library.
Trove is a free search engine of various types of content from Australian libraries, museums, archives, newspapers and other organisations.
Also on October 10 is a social evening at the Community Club, with social bowls and entertainment by Kath Harris and friends.
On Friday, October 11 there will be a cemetery walk starting at 9am.
Cost is $10 per person for the walk, and $10 per person for morning tea, which will be held at the museum.
The activities continue with a trivia night at the Community Club on October 11, starting at 7.30pm.
It is being run by the squash club, and bookings can be made with Debbie on 0400 331 824.
Next Saturday afternoon, October 12 is the Musical Spectacular with the Berrigan Amateur Dramatic Society.

Also bringing life to Berrigan this weekend is the annual Berrigan Show on Sunday.
The committee is looking forward to a great day.

St Aidan’s Anglican Church invite the community and their pets to a service of ‘Blessing of the Pets’ on Saturday, October 12, at 10am.
All animals are invited to this service to thank god for his creation and to receive a St Francis blessing.
All animals must be on a leash or in a secure pen for their own safety and of other animals.
Water and treats will be available for both pets and their owners.

The Community Garden has carrots, beetroot, silverbeet, salad leaves and maybe a snow pea or two ready to be picked for a donation.
New members are always welcome. The fee is $5 for 12 months, and the group meets Wednesdays at 1.30pm and Saturdays at 9.30am.

The Savernake Hall Committee will welcome back Damian Callinan and his award-winning cinematic, romantic romp through Post World War II Australia tomorrow.
It has been based on the diaries of his parents and was a winner at the Melbourne Fringe Festival and played in theatres around the country in 2023.
In 2022, Damian performed Mayor for a Day at Savernake, leaving the audience in stitches of laughter, with many saying it was the best show they had seen for years.
The show is on this Thursday, October 3. Arrive at 7pm for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles, with the show from 7.30pm. It will be followed by Savernake’s country supper.
