Riverlinks Westside is set to host the Na Djinang Circus for its performance titled Of the Land on Which We Meet.
The performance will explore the connection between Australians and the country they inhabit and the journey to rediscover a profound link to the land with its 60,000 years of history, spirit and stories.
Featuring powerful circus acrobatics, the performance follows the journeys of three contemporary Australian circus artists, each with a unique relationship to the land.
“This performance is a tribute to the enduring importance of acknowledging the land and its significance in our culture,” Riverlinks manager Matthew Schroeder said.
“It’s a reminder of the rich tapestry of stories woven into this great land, where First Nations heritage remains a vital part of the Greater Shepparton community.”
Of the Land on Which We Meet will be playing at Riverlinks Westside on Echuca Rd, Mooroopna, on Saturday, November 11 at 7.30pm. Tickets range from $29 to $42 and can be purchased in person, through the Riverlinks box office on 5832 9511 or through its website, tinyurl.com/y85t6e8z
