On Thursday, October 10, residents from across the Moira Shire came to Cobram Community House to have their burning questions about My Aged Care answered.
Coinciding with the Victorian Seniors Festival, the session sought to inform residents on what My Aged Care is, how to access the service, and where to find out more.
Over 50 residents enjoyed a morning tea put on by CCH while listening to guest speakers from health service provider NCN Health discuss the My Aged Care program.
Cobram Community House community organiser Paula Hansen said guests asked many questions about the program.
“They were really interested in it,” she said.
“It was great to have NCN Health come talk about it.”
The event was supported by Moira Shire Council.
My Aged Care, an initiative of the Federal Government, provides assistance for those looking to move into aged care living.
