The business, which specialises in accounting and financial planning, won the award for demonstrating outstanding performance and a dedication to its clients, its people and the community.
The firm has been providing financial services to clients around the region since it was founded in 1954.
Managing principal Rod McLeod said the award confirmed the business could compete against any firm in Australia.
“Just because we are a regional firm doesn’t mean we can’t mix it with the bigger city firms. Our skillsets are just as good and often better,” he said.
Mr McLeod said the firm’s mantra was simple.
“We aim to give our clients financial freedom, time freedom and mind freedom,” he said.
He believes part of the reason behind the company’s success is that people are at the heart of what it does.
“I think we treat people fairly. We invest in our team members and invest in their developments and ensure a good working environment,” he said.
“We are big on giving back to the community and support local events as best we can. We believe in being good corporate citizens.”
Moggs Accounting + Advisory chief executive officer Sharon Postlethwaite said the award was a testiment to the hard work the staff put in every day.
The Count National Conference Awards recognise high-performing firms and professionals across a number of categories.
Moggs Accounting + Advisory has offices in Cobram, Finley, Albury and Shepparton.
