Yarrawonga Chronicle contacted several levels of Telstra on Wednesday before finding the right department to relay the issues to and for it to be investigated.
The Chronicle received correspondence today that the issue was found and fixed yesterday.
“We are pleased to report the source of the issue was found yesterday and everything is now working back to normal,” a Telstra spokesperson said.
“A fault at the mobile base station was found which was impacting mobile data speeds, explaining why residents were experiencing slow or lagging speeds when accessing the internet via mobile.”
