At its general meeting on Wednesday, October 23, council administrators passed a motion to note the update to the Achievers Award Assistance Program for the 2023/24 financial year.
Chair administrator Graeme Emonson took the opportunity to congratulate the recipients and encouraged others in the community to take advantage of the funding opportunity.
"It’s fantastic to see our residents excelling in such diverse fields, from gymnastics and netball to barefoot bowls,“ Dr Emonson said.
“We’re proud to provide support through this program to help them pursue their goals.”
