Mooroopna's Chelsea Hall was checking out the floods in the town on Monday, October 17 with family and friends when she spotted a lizard riding on the back of an eastern brown snake on the timbers of the Watts Rd bridge.
Chelsea has seen a few snakes on the family orchard during the years, so she was not too fazed about getting a photo, while her friends took a step backward.
“The lizard was pretty chilled,” she said.
The Australian Museum description of brown snakes note that reptiles are one of its favourite meals.
