The Spilstead household grew by one on March 10, as Benalla’s Lauren and Ben welcomed baby Scarlett Matilda into the world at 10.45am.
Scarlett arrived weighing 4kg and was 49.5cm in length.
Ben said it was a lovely moment, and she was quick to announce herself
“Bub screamed the moment she was placed on Mum’s tummy,” he said.
On March 13, Scarlett and Lauren arrived home, and her grandparents have loved getting to know the newest member of the family.
Her grandparents are Kristine McRae, Barry McRae (deceased), Ron Spilstead and Yolanda Spilstead.
“We’d like to sincerely thank the midwifery team at Benalla Health,” Ben said.
“(Specifically) Dr David O’Callaghan and Dr Ryan Waddell for their care, help and support.”
