John and Vicky Frampton took over the business at the start of February, and said it had been non-stop since.
Despite the new ownership, expect to see some familiar faces at the company.
“We were lucky enough to retain all existing staff and have a great team,” Vicky said.
“It’s been a very successful business, so we’re not trying to change what isn’t broken.”
The business does everything from domestic to commercial cleaning, carpet cleaning, tyre and grout cleaning, inside and out window cleaning and vacant cleaning.
Vicky said she did social work and John had been a mechanic for more than 40 years, and that the chance to own Kyabram Cleaning Service was an opportunity too good to pass up.
“We both still do a little bit of that, but really we just wanted to be our own bosses and work together,” she said.
“It’s a completely new area for both of us, so it’s been a challenge, but we’re so excited for what’s ahead.”
