The event, initiated by the Country Education Partnership in collaboration with Central Goldfields Shire, ran from November 22 to 24. It showcased the talents of students who have been diligently working towards the event since Term 2.
Senior students from Katamatite Primary School immersed themselves in a comprehensive learning experience covering design and construction, forces, teamwork, physical fitness and robotic coding.
One student, aptly capturing the team’s sentiment, said, “It is great to see all of our learning and hard work pay off”.
The school’s success reflects not only their dedication but also the holistic education approach fostered at Katamatite Primary School.
The success achieved by the students wouldn’t have been possible without the invaluable support of the community. The Katamatite Lions Club, Worklocker Cobram, and Priority Fitness in Yarrawonga played pivotal roles in backing the students’ endeavours.
Their generous support enabled the students to participate in the Energy Breakthrough and showcased the community’s commitment to nurturing young talent.
Katamatite Primary School extends its gratitude to these sponsors, recognising the instrumental role they played in the students’ accomplishments.
The Energy Breakthrough, initiated by the Country Education Partnership along with Central Goldfields Shire, not only tested the students’ skills but also exemplified the power of community collaboration in fostering educational excellence.
The students of Katamatite Primary School have proven that with determination, hard work and community support, they can overcome challenges and achieve remarkable success on a broader stage.
The Energy Breakthrough event is a testament to the school’s commitment to providing a well-rounded education beyond the traditional classroom setting.
