For more than 100 years, Tocumwal has been a hub of aviation.

Whether during the 1920s, when the first joy flights were held, through the war years to the current days of gliding and crop dusting, many aviation milestones have passed at Tocumwal.

At what has been a gliding hub for the past 70 years, local pilots are excelling at their craft in national competitions.

Now a bustling destination for everything from adventurers to medical transport, the Tocumwal Airfield has many stories to tell.

Come along to the Cobram Library on Thursday, May 8 to hear the founders of the Tocumwal Aviation Museum, Matt and Karen Henderson, share fascinating stories of the district’s aviation history.
