They would love to find out the story behind the photos, with some having little to no details.
Over the next few weeks, Campaspe News will publish some of the photos for the members in the hope people in the community might be able to help with information.
This photo sadly had no details on the back. All we know about it, is that it was taken by a photographer who was in Bendigo.
Last week’s photo was of a ‘typical farm scene’ and was used by Heritage Australia for the 1999 calendar.
If you have any details in relation to the photos, please reach out to the society via email to j-lfoster@bigpond.com or email the Campaspe News at editorial@campaspenews.com.au, and we will pass along the information.
Rochester Historical and Pioneer Society is located at 96-98 High St, Rochester, and is open to visitors from 9am to noon on Wednesdays and Fridays.
