The holistic health practitioner is opening a Health and Lifestyle Retreats glamping experience near Berrigan to help people improve their health.
Ms Peris said the idea behind the glamping retreats was to bring people out into nature following the covid lockdowns.
“I wanted to bring people out to experience the Australian country lifestyle after coming out of lockdowns and periods of social isolation,” she said.
“Glamping is so much fun.”
The two- or four-day retreats will involve yoga exercise routines and meditation, including a Labyrinth meditation walk, health talks, energy healing, cognitive exercises, and fun outdoor activities and games.
According to Ms Peris, yoga helps realign body posture, improve flexibility, balance, and strength, and, combined with meditation, can calm minds and release physical, mental, and emotional stress.
“I believe ‘Meditation is your best medication’,” Ms Peris said.
“I teach four different meditation routines. They are all powerful and help regain clarity and focus on your life path, and help manage stress, depression and anxiety.”
Guests can stay in glamping tents as well as room accommodations complete with modern shared amenities.
They can also relax with a Hot spa under the stars, and those with aching feet can enjoy foot spas.
Breakfast, lunch and refreshments are provided at the retreats, with guests able to eat out in the evenings.
Each retreat will involve only a small group to ensure everyone is focused and connected.
“The Retreat programs mainly focus on how to tap into the power of your mind to create the life you desire,” Ms Peris said.
“We can create the life we desire if we know how. I address health for the body, mind and soul.”
Ms Peris said it was vital for people to get away from everyday stresses and focus on themselves.
“I feel it is really important that we give ourselves the time to connect with nature to de-stress and to focus on our life path to re-boot our lives,” she said.
“Stressful lifestyles can reduce your immunity and causes imbalances which contributes to chronic illnesses.”
Ms Peris is hoping that those who attend the Retreats come out with a new perspective on life.
“Our retreats are life-changing, empowering and fun. You will be amazed how simple lifestyle changes can transform your life and refocus on your journey through life,” she said.
“I guarantee that you will walk away as a different person to the person who walked in - transformed and energized to be the best version of you.”
The retreats begin in March 2024, with booking to open soon.
