Co-founder of Springtree David Laing said the vision for Springtree was to create welcoming, vibrant communities that enhanced residents’ quality of life.
A second Springtree lifestyle resort is also in the works in Yarrawonga.
“These projects demonstrate our commitment to Cobram, Yarrawonga and the surrounding region, delivering exceptional living spaces that foster connection and wellbeing,” Mr Laing said.
“Springtree Cobram will be a significant addition to the current offering in Cobram, giving local downsizers and new arrivals the opportunity to own their own low-maintenance home while enjoying exclusive access to a host of wellbeing and leisure facilities.”
The new facility will feature two and three-bedroom homes with open-plan layouts and pet-friendly gardens.
Until a permanent clubhouse is built, a temporary clubhouse has ensured community life can continue seamlessly for existing residents meanwhile.
Mr Laing said the Murray River region was becoming increasingly popular with downsizers due to its idyllic natural setting and temperate climate, relative affordability and location only three hours from Melbourne.
“More and more people are discovering the country charm of the Moira Shire while the ageing local population has also increased demand for more suitable, low-maintenance lifestyle communities such as Springtree Cobram and Springtree Yarrawonga,” he said.
“We are very excited that the first two Springtree communities are located in this amazing region and look forward to playing our part in contributing to its thriving future.”
